University: of Georgia in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. Thereafter, I worked for a residential real estate law firm in Atlanta, Georgia for a few years before starting law school at Louisiana State University School of Law where I received my Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law in 2008. I also received a Certificate in Global Arbitration Law and Practice. During law school, I clerked for a firm performing work as in-house counsel for large national insurance company. Following law school, I joined a small general practice law firm in 2008 as an associate attorney and was actively involved in the defense of products liability, employment, insurance, and general liability matters. I also had experience with plaintiff cases involving Katrina insurance litigation, personal injury and civil rights. In May 2013, I joined the firm of Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin, & Hubbard as an associate attorney in the insurance section. I am a trial attorney and have practiced throughout Louisiana in several district courts as well as before all three federal district courts of Louisiana. I am admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana and the State of Georgia. I am also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit. I have appellate experience in the Louisiana Fourth and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeals as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court.
