University: of Kentucky College of Law in 1994.After receiving his education, Stephen moved back to Greenup and began practicing. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Eastern Federal District of Kentucky, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, all courts in the state of West Virginia and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is the President of the Greenup/Lewis County Bar Association and a member of the Boyd County Bar Association. While maintaining a busy law practice, Stephen also donates significant time to his community. He is the Chairman of the Board of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Foundation, which works to serve the charitable needs of the community and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. He is also a member of the Independent Review Board of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, which helps ensure that the people with serious medical problems who participate in experimental treatment programs are treated with dignity, respect and fairness. Stephen also donates legal services to our veterans and participates in the pro bono program through Legal Aid of the Bluegrass.Since returning to Greenup, Kentucky, Stephen has practiced in many areas of law. Today he concentrates his practice in personal injury, domestic relations, appellate practice, workers’ compensation and contracts and municipal law.
