Robert Jenkins

Robert Jenkins is a personal injury attorney based in Jamestown, North Carolina practicing at Lanier Law Group, P.A.. University: of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Public Administration with honors from North Carolina State University and his law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in law school, Jenkins was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Jenkins was in full-time private practice for 18 years during which time he handled medical negligence, products liability, workplace injury, serious personal injury and wrongful death cases across North Carolina. He has argued before both the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and has tried cases in both state and federal court. In 2010 Jenkins joined the faculty of the Charlotte School of Law as an Assistant Professor where he teaches torts, remedies and advanced litigation classes. He also continues as an adjunct faculty member at the UNC School of Law. Professor Jenkins' broader involvement in the legal profession has included service on the North Carolina Bar Association Litigation Section Council, the Trial Practice Curriculum Committee and the Medico-Legal Liaison Committee. He served two terms on the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Board of Governors and also has been active in the Wake County Bar Association, the Susie Sharp Inn of Court, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. In 2012, Professor Jenkins agreed to join Lanier Law Group in an of-counsel capacity and will work with the firm on products liability and related personal injury matters. .
