Ms. Cocozza concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, general liability, insurance defense and coverage, subrogation, personal injury losses, construction defects, water losses, snow/ice losses, and other areas of civil litigation. While at Suffolk University, Ms. Cocozza received a certificate in the Intellectual Property Law Concentration with Distinction. Ms. Cocozza was on the Journal of High Technology Law (2013-2015) and published a Note titled, Instagram sets a precedent by an “Insta” Change in Social Media Contracts & Users’ Ignorance of Instagram’s Terms of Use May Lead to Acceptance by a Simple “Snap.” She also served as a Student Attorney in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she defended the intellectual property rights of small businesses and start-ups against nationally known brands. Ms. Cocozza also served as the Sports and Entertainment Law Association President (2014-2015) and Vice President of Entertainment (2013-2014). Ms. Cocozza received a B.S. in Legal Studies and a B.A. in English from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. While at St. John’s she was a Division I student-athlete as a member of the St. John’s Cross-Country and Track and Field teams (2008-2012).
