University: School of Law in San Antonio Texas and received her JD degree in 1986. She returned to the DC metro area and was admitted into the bars of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. After working for many years as an associate attorney who was supervised by more experienced personal injury lawyers she opened her practice, initially with her father, Francis J. Burke, who has since retired. Her practice is limited solely to representing those wrongfully injured by others, including cases against drunk drivers, negligent health care providers and others who have caused injury. Her background and interests in advocacy for others led her to the area of personal injury law very quickly and she has been representing injured people for several decades now. Her dedication to her clients and the single area of law make her a most effective advocate for those who lives have been tore apart as a result of an injury. In addition to the skills, education and qualifications of Ms. Burke, the technology and connections available through associations such as the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association ensure that Ms. Burke’s office has the capability to handle serious injury litigation and she affords her clients individual attention that is not common in the legal world, she visits her clients at home and in the work place when the case demands. Important interviews with witnesses are done by Ms. Burke and not office staff. Ms. Burke resides with her family in Springfield, Virginia and is also active in her community. She has coached her daughters’ soccer team for the past 8 years, and to brag a bit the team recently won the MSL Championship at the conclusion of an undefeated season!
